YIKES! Keeping on top of Google is a career in its self! Learned today that Google has dropped/blocked my account because of some issue with my addresses on file. Most of my new business does come from the Internet, but in my mind, this should have nothing to do with what I offer clients. Right now,…I am hating Google and all that goes with that.
In recent days/months, Google saw first to determine that I am closed, I never posted or told them to do that. I work on a very limited basis, 1 client at a time, salon disinfected before and after each client, we all wear masks, and I book accordingly to protect every client.
To me, what IS important is that clients feel I am doing all I can to protect them and also give the best customer service I can.
I have over 40 years’ experience in this profession, have accounts with all major providers, Fabulous experience and a mind that realizes how important it is to get the look they want. I work hard to provide a service that clients feel so much better than they did when we started. Google does not understand, they are all about algorithmics. I know I am the best provider out there, but also refuse to bow down to Google.
I am listed in numerous directories besides Google, jut search Chrisforhair and you can read the statements. I am so sorry this has happened, but also feel it is a result of the times we live in.
I will keep trying, but also cannot let this issue destroy what is most important to me…giving those that need hair the best solutions.
